Battlefield 3 Beta Origin

Not sure if anyone else was as annoyed as I was with the craptastic battlefield 3 beta image taking up valuable screen real estate within the Origin game launcher...

Apparently, you had to contact EA support via their forums to have the game removed from your account. Well that was just too much effort (almost as much as writing this post).

Simple Solution...

Open the the xml file: C:\ProgramData\Origin\InstalledGames.xml
Find the following line:
<Game gameID="71171" lastPlayed="1318583328" hidden="0" favorite="0"/>
Change the attribute hidden from 0 to 1...
<Game gameID="71171" lastPlayed="1318583328" hidden="1" favorite="0"/>

Now it won't show up on your launcher... Thanks for making it so simple EA.
