Topics I've Started

Falsebook [Gate]

08 October 2011 - 02:55 PM

I wanted to know what the admins thought about using an additional material for [Gate], such as Iron Bars. Let me know what you guys think.

Cauldron Bug

28 August 2011 - 01:06 AM

Crafting Ice one evening within a cauldron, I toss all the items in, right click, then the client crashes and I'm unable to see the hud or access any part of the menu. Has this happened to anyone else? Strange bug, as this just so happens to be my first time crafting ice. Lol.. go figure.

BACON BACON BACON!!!

BACON BACON BAAAACON!!

Just wanted to point out the porkchop on the dynamic map. Look for the "Welcome to Koolsource.com" area of the map, and just to the west of it you'll see it next to my psychedelic creeper.

Also: I'll be recording videos of a few designs that I've learned during my stay on the server. Just need to record/edit and finalize 'em. You'll hear from me once they're finished.

Good luck!

WorldGuard - /Region for non-admins

08 June 2011 - 06:50 PM

With the server in test-mode, I decided to experiment with /region commands, to see if it were at all possible to have the same sort of control non-admins were previously capable of with cuboids (hmod). So in order to figure out which regions you're capable of editing, instead of using a wooden sword, you can use a silk thread from a spider. Right clicking will display whether or not you're capable of editing within the region, and the region ID.

In order to "toggle" [now none|allow|deny] various "Flags" [for instance, it was once called Creeper-free, but now creeper-explosion] you must enter this command:
- /region flag <id> <flag> <none|allow|deny>
<id> = your Region ID, which will be what your cuboid was titled before the update
<flag> = a particular behavior within the region
<none|allow|deny> = Default|Allow|Deny

If you would like to see a complete list of Flags, visit this site: http://wiki.sk89q.co...ldGuard/Regions

So for instance, if I wanted to disable creepers from damaging blocks within my region, I'll type:
- /region flag <id> creeper-explosion deny
This command will disable any creepers from destroying any blocks within my region. Test that out within your region...

Another example would be to add another member to your region:
- /region addmember <id> <member> <member> <member>
If you have only one member you would like to add to your region, simply type the alias and hit enter. If you would like to remove the member, instead of typing "addmember" type "removemember"

Obviously there are some commands which we are incapable of changing, though others may be needed to have the same level of control which non-admins had before the server update, and I'll list them below:

- Heal (now called "heal-delay" toggles the healing rate, and also "heal-amount" which can alter the value of each tick)
- Sanctuary (now called "mob-spawning" toggles mobs spawning within the region, and "deny-spawn" which may not be necessary after "mob-spawning")

These are the only two commands which I find necessary to keep our projects safe, and having been enabled previous to the update for cuboids, may help once the server is beyond the test stage.

It's KIRBY!

06 June 2011 - 02:34 PM

In honor of my cousins artistic ability, I decided to use his design on my tower. If you don't know who or what Kirby is, highly suggest tossing it into google. FYI, it took 71 black wool, 91 pink wool, and 36 Magenta to create it in-game. Hope you all enjoy!
