I can only assume I need to ask for permission before I'm able to edit and/or change parts of the Wiki. I started reading through pages and noticed that the Land Claim policy page doesn't have any information about dealing with mines, caves, and the like (As far as marking them off, walling off if you build into them etc), so I dug around, and found that only writers and Admins may edit. In addition, there's no place visible on the site (I dug for about the last 15 minutes) to either request writing and editing permission or whatnot.
I'm hoping to be able to do some write ups, go around the server and take some screenshots, as well as maybe an intro movie to Koolsource that we can stick on the frontpage of the Wiki as a "Welcome to the server" thing. That'll take a bit of time, but the editing I can start on now. Which will also get me all the... "SOURCE" material! Bwa ha.
But seriously, I'd like to request writing and editing permissions. Please and thank you

There are a lot of holes in the wiki because we have not had time to update it and of course nobody has access to edit the wiki as people would be able to change what they like.
If you do know how to use Wiki and are genuinely interested in helping then i will look into getting you permission. However, all edits will have to be authorised before they are published.
The wiki will never be editable by the community, as it is for us to give you information, not the other way around.

If you wish, I could start typing up different additions to the Wiki and forward them VIA PM or another way if you'd like. That way you can review them and publish them yourselves in case you wish to modify on the fly as well. I'm only slightly familiar with Wiki editing. The last time I had to do any major editing was a very, very basic version of Wiki back when I played Diablo 2 and ran a "Fake" wiki for the D2 community at Blizzforums.com. We wanted to start our own community project linking to builds, talents, and essentially a "Master's" guide to D2 with information on each talent outside of what the game gives you, such as tricks to the talent and the like. One of our moderators (And now head admin, Neo) allowed us webserver space to do this in a very basic manner, however the project fell short within a few weeks. I did editing there, but I will admit, I am not familiar with the tools on Wikia, although I'd be willing to learn.
Long, drawn out story aside, I'd be willing to put in some time to get some articles, revisions, additions, and the like typed out, as well as including different screenshots, videos, and such up there. Perhaps I could get a basic "Profile" down for each person that is a regular on the server (All Admins, all moderators, pretty much all VIP+, then once those are done, go to VIP, etc). That way we can also have our own individual accomplishment pages, which could bounce us around the Wiki further, finding a common connection. Sort of like a family tree-esque way of doing things (I guess that's what the Wiki is for, huh).

ok, it looks like we will be changing our wiki, to something like a wiki, but not a wiki, it will be much neater and integrated into the rest of the site, you will also be able to leave comments on the articles with things such as changes and updates.
I'll let you know when it is ready for the public
