I bought some of the mob eggs off of the istore and two dissapeared in my inventory and the other two I threw at the ground and nothing happened. I also went to the creative world and they didn't appear to work either. Just wanted to check in case I missed something.

Were you in a town when you threw an aggressive mob? Also they don't work in creative as mobs have been disabled.
