I have decided to start a project that the server can work on together. We are going to try and recreate the RuneScape world in Minecraft in as much detail as possible to scale. RuneScape is a free to play MMORPG so if you want to help us develop this new world, go get an account at RuneScape.com and start checking out the world/map.

I was going to do Middle Earth from LOTR but it turns out another server is already very far ahead with that and it is a huge project so i decided to do something a little simpler and everyone can help as RuneScape is free to play and explore.

This world can be accessed by using the Worlds StarGate in the Zagora pyramid.

World Information:

• Creative Mode: ON
  
• Weather: OFF
  
• Mobs: OFF
  
• Animals: ON
  
• PVP: OFF
  
• Dynamic Map: ON

Rules:

• No Griefing - You will be banned!
  
• Only Veterans and above can build/destroy.
  
• No underground mining tunnels.
  
• Follow the map scale and details as much as possible.
  
• If you don't know what your doing, don't do anything.
  
• If you need help ask someone who knows or post in these forums.

I will be looking for people to lead the development of this world. If you have experience in RuneScape and are interested in helping then let me know. Lead developers will get an [RS] tag in-game.

This project is currently on hold due to the update breaking our world generator.

It will be back.
