I have not been on minecraft since last week thursday because ive been at my grandmas with NO INTERNET. i just came home today and tried to log on the server. When i tried to log on it said i was banned!!!! I then went to chat and talked with Happy0 and some other players and tried to figure out why i was banned. I was told that i was banned for using the fly mod and using and x-ray mod. I do share an account with my brother because i origanally didnt have enought money to buy minecraft alone. I am only 13 and my brother is 16 and he is out to get me! I think he cheated on the server. i tried to call him because he is at a friends house (im suprised that ass has friends) but he wont pick up the phone! Plz unban me soon, im going through koolsource withdrawls! I will get my friends to post to prove i wasnt home.

You will have to wait, this one has to be discussed. I can say though that your appeal will probably be denied.

If I might chime in myself, since I am rather opinionated on this subject matter:

You read the rules on joining the server and agreed to the no flying or x ray hacking in doing so. If you decided to go against it, that's your choice. The fact that you have been on the server for a NUMBER of weeks hurts you more than helps you - Being here for this long, you understand the rules (or should have) enough to not do what is asked not to do.

Watching you hand out diamond BLOCKS (Not raw diamonds mind you) to help do some minor task work shows that you've been x ray hacking for a while or are so insanely lucky it's not even funny. I've been on the server longer than you (Based on my July sign up versus your August), and my stockpile of Diamond Blocks is only about 5 or 6 right now. To think you have enough diamond blocks floating around to give out for mundane tasks screams that you've been doing this far longer than you'd like to admit. That alone makes me want to say it's not worth letting you back on the server without removing all your former items in order to put you on par with the rest of us so you can understand what playing the game is all about.

In addition, the fly hacking was seen before and you have even been TOLD not to do it on at least two occasions I can think of before now. I recall one situation where you asked if you could fly and an admin (I could swear it was either Dean or Happy0) telling you that flying is completely against the rules to which you said you wouldn't. Not only did you disobey an admin that told you not to do something, you did so full and well anyway.

Furthermore, if you "share" an account, you must take responsibility for it and everyone that uses it. If Amanda were at my house and logged in to my PC and started flyhacking with my account, I hope they would ban me too, only because it's my idiocy that allowed the account so easily into. Not to mention, if she used my PC to log in to my account so easily, that means she'd have to modify my client to allow for flyhacking, then for me not to notice, would have to REVERT it before I log in. I dug around a little into the different modifications, and most of the mods that include flying or x ray hacking (That I found in a quick search - And there's 3 different ones for flying, 2 for X Ray) have little toolbars showing on the screen either in the corner or when F3 is pressed (And in one situation, there's a flyhack that changes your sneak to fly and then puts "Flying" in the corner of your screen showing it's enabled). This means that to not notice the hacks being installed is nearly impossible if you play normally. That said, the client you use to log in has to be a false client allowing the modifications, which means ANYONE including you, your brother, or anyone else to log into that PC would have them enabled, even if it's with a different account name.

All the wall of text above in short form: Not being able to notice hacks enabled on your client is hard to do unless you're blind, and to ignore admins requests to fly in the past shows you were willing to do it in the first place when it's clearly stated on both the rules in-game and on the forums (So asking should never have happened in the first place). I feel the ban is 100% justified on the admin's behalf and whether they unban you or not will still not get my trust in-game back so easily if you are back at some point in the future.

And the shortest - TL:DR: I say you should be banned and stay banned. Your own fault to have it happen.

i never did any of this modding. i never use mods cause i dont even know how to instal them. my brother is a computer nerd and must have instaled the mods and tested them out on the server while i was at my grandmas. did u read my appleal? i didnt do any of this. it happened while i was at my grandmas without a computer!

i have never instaled a mod and i dont want to.

i was never on a computer when my account was banned

how much stuff did my brother cheat on? i mean snow got back on the server after he used the fly mod, so how bad was the cheating to the point where u are all against me getting back on?

Apparently you did not read everything he said. If someone else has access to your account, you take full responsibility for what is done on that account. You decided to share the information with your "brother" and this is what happened. Maybe next time you wont share your account information and just have your "brother" make a separate account.

Odds are, you will not be unbanned. You keep bringing it up and asking about it. Every time you do so reduces the odds of you being unbanned even further. It's not up to me anyway.

I'll leave my final statement here and you can take it how you will. The Admins likely have been discussing what the options for you are and I have no say in that, but I will share my opinion, since this directly influences what the server stands for, as well as potentially messing with the economy.

The fact that you or someone else in your family flew on the server is inexcusable. If you have to share accounts, you share everything, including responsibility. It would be similar to sharing answers on a test. If you both turn in a test that has the exact same answers, right and wrong, you will get in trouble. What if he copied from you and you didn't know? It won't matter - The teacher doesn't know the difference, only that you both had the same answers, and he or she will punish you both because it's an unknown variable.

Similarly, it doesn't matter if you or he hacked - It's unknown, and to prevent problems now and in the future, we ban the account that created the problems. First off, the economy could become in flux because of how many diamonds you pass out. Secondly, the flyhacking allowed for faster gathering (No hills to climb, etc) whether you or he did it. Thirdly, the people that associated with you (As we have seen) have also been accused of some form of hacking including Snow. This doesn't present itself well, so the admins could potentially take the "Worst case scenario" route on it, meaning that they try to see this in the worst possible way and what went on and what could happen.

What I'm saying is that in this situation, you allowed yourself to be at the mercy of your brother (If it happened like that). He used your account and created this situation. Like you, he should know the rules of the server, and whether it was him or not, the character logged in violated the rules and was banned. It didn't matter if it was you, him, Jesus, Obama, or Dean himself - Using hacks is against Koolsource rules and should be punished. I'd think of the same for me if someone logged into my account.

Best suggestion for you from now on on this server or any other you visit - Make sure to uncheck the "Remember password" button and change it so your brother can't use your account. If you're forced to share the accounts, don't think we would be the last server to potentially ban you for this. Other servers are far less understanding to even review a ban.

You're responsible for your account, regardless of whether it was you or not doesn't enter into it. Someone playing on your account for an extended period of time was cheating (that is to say, they were on your account for more than just one login, and cheating - using an x-ray mod to find diamonds and such easily, giving out illegal diamond blocks to members for things that aren't at all worthy of receiving diamond blocks - ie. injecting into the economy)

We (the Admins) have decided that the account in question is permanently banned despite wether it was you or your brother. As you have been told by many people now the account is your responsibility.

This decision is FINAL.

I got over 6 stax of diamonds and it took u over 12 hours to get me banned. I'm going on to a new server. I have now learned how to cheat without getting caught thx to ur slow action in banning me. ur admin happy gave me some good info about some features of certain servers :) that info will be very useful to me! thx to u all! -kuphjr p.s I am not accosiated with-anyone on the server, so plz do not hold this against them! luv u all! pps u guys will find it very hard to stabilize the economy when anyone finds one of the many chests I have hidden around the map. each chest is filled with 3 stax of gold 4 stax of iron and 1/2 a stak of diamond. have fun!
