Earlier today, @Notch tweeted that Minecraft 1.9 will be available to download this afternoon. Now we have a download link! Prepare yourself for Minecraft NPCs!

Some time after notches tweet, Jeb, another Minecraft developer Tweeted a Download Link to the pre-release.

I have no idea what the NPC above is supposed to be but download the pre-release and let us know what you discover as i have yet to try it and i don't think i will have time as i have to work on our main server tonight.
