Hello KoolSourcers:

We're proud to present the KoolSource iStore: Yet another way we're trying to reward those who donate!

The iStore
The KoolSource iStore is an online shopping area to purchase items for Minecraft using KsCredits. You can view the iStore by going to http://koolsource.com/iStore or clicking the iStore link at the top of the page.
Once you purchase items you will be given a code to enter in game to redeem your items. This code can be used yourself or given as a gift.

What are KsCredits?
KsCredits are the currancy that KoolSource uses for it's iStore. You can add KsC to your account by going to the Store and purchasing them. Once they are in your account you can use them in our iStore any time you want, and they never expire so keep them as long as you want.

Special Note
All members who donated this month and last month have had their donation converted to KsC. This does not apply to VIP, SuperVIP or Nickname purchases.

If you need support for any reason please feel free to contact support via email at support@koolsource.com or just talk to me whenever I'm on.
If you find a bug within our coupon redemption system please report it to us. Abusing bugs / glitches found in our item redemption system for your personal gain is grounds for bannishment.

Please Note:
  • The pricing scheme is currently under development, if you believe that an item is currently priced unfairly please let us know and we'll look into it.
  • We have not finished adding all items to the store and will be adding more items as we go. If you have a suggestion as to which items you would like to see added first let us know.
  • Codes can only be redeemed once. After redemption they are void.

P.S. If anyone would like me to make a step-by-step tutorial please feel free to ask.

About prices:

I probably won't be buying anything off the iStore any time soon but I think the pricing is pretty weird. Also, why is it called iStore? What does the i stand for? I would think it would be eStore lol.
dia:
Well anyway, Why is the diamond pick almost 2x as expensive as the diamond axe when they're made from the same items? Cause the pick is more useful? Same thing with the other diamond items, the cost-per-diamond (assuming the sticks are worthless) is different for each one.
tnt:
And: How much would you pay for a 64 stack of tnt? If you pay in diamonds and go by the prices of those diamond tools, it would cost 15-16 diamonds. I would say its only worth about 3.
armor:
same deal as the tools
wool:
kind of weird pricing here but i don't want to do more math so yeah
also I thought brown was a primary color. coco beans and wool make brown wool

also fun fact: placing ice in the nether makes it melt into water that can make all the lava obsidian. dont know if you knew that when you made the price.

Ok that's it, i think the iStores a good idea but i don't have money to spend just now

Diamond Pick would be used heavily by anyone. To be honest, how many times have you made a diamond pick versus diamond axe or diamond hoe or diamond anything else? Maybe armor, perhaps. But honestly, that makes sense - The Diamond Pick or Shovel is easily one of the most used items. The thing is, the Pick uses 3 Diamonds, the shovel uses 1. It makes sense there.

TNT: They don't want everyone having access to tons upon tons of TNT, otherwise the world would be a crater. It is a VERY useful item when used properly, and only those that have a dire need of TNT would use it and actually USE it right (Key word there). Putting a higher price discourages everyone from picking some up and just blowing stuff up and then complaining.

Wool: Cocoa beans only come in chests from dungeons. And bear in mind, you only get a VERY limited supply of beans if you DO find any (I actually FOUND some once... And I gave them to Amanda. All 6 of them from one chest). Plus, they're not a guaranteed spawn. That makes brown wool extremely valuable.

I think that answers the questions from my perspective. Perhaps the admins might have more insight into that one and could tell you if I'm right or wrong. I'm pretty sure the wool one would be dead on as to why it's so expensive. The TNT and Diamond Pick are my own opinions that make sense in my head. But again, don't let my opinions be the deciding reason.

I wasn't saying the brown wool was overpriced. Just that brown dye is a primary dye. Also you find it on sheep too so it isn't as rare as before. So I hope she made cookies with the coco beans instead of dying wool! And yeah i guess you're right with the TNT thing. But still, if it's priced like that then it would be better to just buy it from someone ingame.
I know that everyone uses diamond picks more often than diamond axes. But It still lets you collect the same number of blocks and without using it would last longer. So I would say they're worth the same amount.
Edit: Now that I think about it, since people wouldnt buy as many axes as picks, they should make it cheaper so people buy them at all.

Its not that we said brown wool isn't primary. Since it is a bit hard to make we separated it out because we priced the groups the same. It can be found on sheep but is still very hard to get and if someone needs a stack or two of brown wool they will have to farm sheep for a long time to get that much.
TNT is still a bit hard to get in-game. Like they said we're not fond of the idea of everyone getting a lot of TNT.
Diamond pick are in higher demand. Lets face it this is economics 101. If the demand is high then the prices are high. Also Diamond picks allow people to mine more diamond faster and as a result the person becomes less dependent on the iStore as time goes on.

Then you won't like what I'm doing lol. Making about a stack a day and its all for sale.

If the demand is high then the prices are high.
I think that only applies when there is a limited quantity of something for sale.

Mossy Cobble was one Amanda reminded me about. I also like the addition of Sponges (Thanks! I already got 64 ^.^), which will let me build a future project I've been debating. As for other blocks beyond Mossy Cobble, perhaps when 1.8 comes out, we can add a few others, such as Cracked Cobble, or such. But that's all I've got for now.
