Below is a list of some of the vast amount of texture packs available as well as the admin approved custom clients. These have been pre-modified by me and are known to be secure and do not include malware, spyware or anything of that nature.
JumpTo:

Windows XP:
- Select and download ONE modified client from the list below. We have tried to create all possible combinations of pre-installed compatible mods. If we've missed a combination please let us know and we'll add it.
- Click start, Click run.
- Type %appdata% into the box that appears and click run.
- Browse to the open the .minecraft folder then open the bin folder that appears.
- Open the zip that you downloaded in Step 1 and replace your minecraft.jar with the minecraft.jar included in the zip folder.
- Close all windows opened during this process. You may delete the zip file that you downloaded and start playing Minecraft.
Windows Vista / Seven:
- Select and download ONE modified client from the list below. We have tried to create all possible combinations of pre-installed compatible mods. If we've missed a combination please let us know and we'll add it.
- Type %appdata% into the box at the bottom of your start menu.
- Browse to the open the .minecraft folder then open the bin folder that appears.
- Open the zip that you downloaded in Step 1 and replace your minecraft.jar with the minecraft.jar included in the zip folder.
- Close all windows opened during this process. You may delete the zip file that you downloaded and start playing Minecraft.
Linux ( Ubuntu )
- Select and download ONE modified client from the list below. We have tried to create all possible combinations of pre-installed compatible mods. If we've missed a combination please let us know and we'll add it.
- Open a terminal window
- You can do this by going to Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal
- In the terminal that appears type nautilus /home/$USER/.minecraft/bin and press enter
- Open the zip that you downloaded in Step 1 and replace your minecraft.jar with the minecraft.jar included in the zip folder.
- Close all windows opened during this process. You may delete the zip file that you downloaded and start playing Minecraft.
Mac OSX:
- Select and download ONE modified client from the list below. We have tried to create all possible combinations of pre-installed compatible mods. If we've missed a combination please let us know and we'll add it.
- Open Finder
- Navigate to /home/USERNAME/.minecraft/bin
- Open the zip that you downloaded in Step 1 and replace your minecraft.jar with the minecraft.jar included in the zip folder.
- Close all windows opened during this process. You may delete the zip file that you downloaded and start playing Minecraft.
Installation Instructions (Template Packs):
All Operating Systems:
- Open Minecraft
- Click on Mods and Texture Packs
- Click on Open texture pack folder
- Move the ZIP file that you have downloaded to the Finder / Explorer / Nautilus window that appears.
- Click on the Texture pack in the list in Minecraft.
Note #2: You may install as many texture packs as you would like. You can switch between them by clicking on different texture packs.

Texture Packs:
Note #1: This is not a complete list. Here are a few skins that I thought were very well made. All texture packs will work with any of the custom clients.
Note #2: None of the skin listed below are created by myself or any other KoolSourcers unless otherwise stated.
Note #3: To use any of the following texture packs you MUST have at least the HD Texture Pack Custom Client from below.
Info on System Resources:
16x16 texture packs should run fine on any computer that can run Minecraft. However once you start using higher resolution texture packs you'll notice a very large difference in the amount of lag that you experience while playing online. In order to use 64x64 or higher HD texture packs I highly suggest that you have a dedicated graphics card. Without this you'll experience very large bouts of lag.

Custom Clients
Note #1: The following list of custom clients are the only custom clients approved for use on our server and supported by KoolSource staff. If you would like a new custom client approved please contact an administrator or create a post in this thread with a link to the mod, as well as the purpose the mod serves.
HD Texture Client:
This custom client is required in order to use any of the above texture packs. All of the other custom clients also support HD Texture Packs as well; we've included this custom client just in case you didn't want any mods, and just wanted an HD Texture.
This custom client is exactly like the stock one except it allows for HD Texture Packs.

Minimap Client:
This custom client enables a Minimap in the top right corner of your screen. This allows for easier navigation around the map and allows you to easily find landmarks. It also has built in way-points to help you get back to where you were. It also supports HD Texture Packs.
Suggestions:
When you first start the game and join our server press Z to remove the welcome box. Then press M to open the options dialog. Click on the red OFF next to Square Map and the green ON next to Welcome Screen. This will make the minimap larger and make the welcome box not appear on startup.
