Just a quick update to let everyone know that we upgraded the server to 16GB RAM today. We felt that it was needed with all the new features along with all the new members that we are getting and the new land being generated daily.

This means that Minecraft now has 12GB to itself

I have had a play on it and can already notice the difference, it certainly reacts faster to compass clicks and teleporting in general.

The website should also load pages that little bit faster which is always nice.

It's been long past due that KoolSource add yet another amazing feature to it's list.

We've been hard at work over the past few weeks working on something we'd like to call KoolSource Domains. KoolSource Domains will enable members of our community ( yes this means you ) to purchase subdomains of KoolSource.com for KsC.

Please let us know if you have any questions about our domain service. We would also love to hear about any feature suggestions that you might have.

How can I get one?
Under the "More" link above there is a link called "Domains" click that.

How much are they?
Each domain name costs 5120 KsC. You can purchase KsC from our store.

How many domains can I own?
You may own and manage as many domains as you would like. There isn't a limit.

What can I do with my domain?
Once you purchase a domain you will be able to either design your own page, or have it be forwarded to a URL of your choice. For example http://zagora.koolsource.com redirects to http://koolsource.com/forum/27-zagora/ . This can be used to easily shorten your Town's forum URL.

Since the latest update some holes have appeared in certain places. These are not full holes, only the smooth stone is missing but they do go all the way down to bedrock.

We do not yet know what has caused this or how to fix it. We need to know a few things first.

If you find or know where one of these holes are then could you please reply to this topic with this information.

What we are trying to determine is if new holes are appearing or if the ones that are already there are they only ones.

I believe that people are having problems voting on Minestatus.net and recieving errors such as:

Mojang have released an update for Minecraft, bringing us to Minecraft 1.1.

• Along with several bug fixes, this update provides the following:
  
• Bow Enchantments
  
• Golden Apple recipe
  
• New language translations.
  
• Slightly smoothed color transitions between biomes
  
• Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds
  
• Added spawn eggs to creative (the colors of the eggs even look like the mobs)
  
• Added world type options (currently only super-flat and default)
  
• Removed collision box from ladders
  
• Sheep eat grass and regain their wool
  

As usual DO NOT update your client until you know that we have updated our server or else you will not be able to play. As soon as bukkit release a recommended build we will update. Hopefully it shouldn't take anymore than a week as they are already working on it.
